Single Phase Inverters
Product description
Single phase inverters are used to convert DC to single phase AC. Typically the output is sinusoidal at 50 Hz or 60 Hz. The output is used to power standard mains-connected devices such as lights, computers, air conditioners, refrigerators, kettles and microwave ovens. Our single phase inverters range from 2.5 kW to 20 kW.
There are three main models of our single phase inverters. These serve three main purposes
- R1-1 Single Phase Inverter: This unit is a single-stage inverter that transforms at 50 Hz and generates an isolated output. The 50 Hz transformer makes this model heavier than other units.
- R3 Single Phase Inverter: This unit is a two-stage inverter that transforms at 25 kHz and generates an isolated 50 Hz output. The 25 kHz transformer is much smaller and lighter and makes this inverter very light - 4 kW invereter is under 20 kg.
- R4 Single Phase Inverter: This unit is a single-stage inverter, contains no transformer and is non-isolated. This inverter is used where the input supply voltage is always higher than the required peak AC voltage. This unit generates the sine wave via a different PWM modulation than isolated models.
